A lawyer for Michael Jacksons doctor filed papers Friday fighting new efforts by Californias attorney general to suspend his license to practice medicine in the state.Sacha Baron Cohen, the man behind Borat and Bruno, will take on some serious fare when he stars in the role of Queens Freddie Mercury in an upcoming biopic. The as yet untitled film will track Mercurys career from the beginnings of Queen to their performance at the 1985 Live Aid concert at Wembley Stadium. Deadline reports that Mercurys final years and AIDS related death in 1991 wont be part of the film. No director has been hired yet, but the script will be written by Peter Morgan, who scripted the acclaimed Frost/Nixon and The Last King of Scotland. Queens site and GK Films, which won the rights to use Queens music, and say that the film will start production in 2011.Infant Sorrows debut album, Get Him to the Greek, is in fact the soundtrack to the film of the same name And star Russell Brand, who plays hard-partying rocker Aldous Snow, sings all the tracks on the record The songs were written and recorded by a number of high-profile British rockers, including Carl Barat of the Libertines and Jarvis Cocker Snippets of several songs do appear in the film, but fans who want to hear full versions can pick up the album, which has sold 3,500 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
